Banana: once you have made the recipe and added your bananas, you can…

  • add a cup or so of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • add some chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc)
  • add some raisins
  • add some dried cranberries or other chopped dried fruit
  • add some flax seeds
  • add a combo of any of the above or whatever takes your fancy.
If you only have 2 bananas, no problem…just add a peeled, chopped apple.

More ideas:
if you don’t want to add bananas, you can add:
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce and 2 cups of fresh chopped peaches or apricots.
So yummy. The possibilities are endless….create your own family masterpiece every time. Let the kids choose too…they’ll have a blast taking charge of the flavors and my kids always love helping me make them.
